Face Your Fears

Facing your fears. One of the key challenges most of us face today, is their inability to overcome their fears. And it is difficult to succeed or triumph in the things you are afraid of….

Although, you may have failed before, doesn’t mean you are a failure. Always remember, failure is only a delay but not defeat.

Yet, if you ever think of giving up as a result of your past failures, consider what John Mason said, “Successful people are not afraid to fail. They go from failure to failure until at last success is theirs.”

A good example is Abraham Lincoln, he failed in business, was defeated for state legislator, ran for congress and was defeated, Senate lost, until he was elected as a President of the United States. What matters most is not how many times you fail, but that you never stop trying.

Stay Open To Change

A wise man remarked, “Life is a personal adventure, where you stop pressing, learning, and growing is where things stop working”
The key is, stay open to change. Never settle for little because; you have what it takes to make a difference. So, try new things, dare the impossible, and don’t be afraid of making mistakes. Most often, mistakes is what gives you the opportunity to learn what works, doesn’t’ work, and area to focus on next time.

Don’t Be Afraid of Failing, Start Taking Small Step

Great inventors, world changers, and men of impact were once like you and I while planning, and thinking how to achieve their dreams. But, what is it that set them apart or distinguishes them from us? They appreciate the need of taking small steps towards their career and passion in life.
Few years ago, when the founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos, saw the need of selling or doing business online. It wasn’t popular then but he decided to take small step. And today, Amazon is the world’s largest online retailer.
So, what can you do today towards your career, passion, dream and talent? Don’t be afraid of failing or making mistakes. Most often, it is through mistake that you discover your strength and weakness as well as area to stop doing, start doing and continue doing in order to fulfil your glorious destiny.
“Remember the two benefits of failure. First, if you do fail, you learn what doesn’t work; and second, the failure gives you the opportunity to try a new approach.” Roger Von Oech quotes

The Power of Indecision

A wise man ones said, it is better to do something and make mistake, than to do nothing at all. Another person said, good plan executed today are far better than perfect plans executed next month. According to Henry Ford – “Indecision is often worse than wrong action” In my view, indecision is an enemy of success. It slow down someone’s mobility. It is a battle of mind. And it goes like this:

  • We are afraid of what will happen – What if it doesn’t work?
  • So, so person has done it and nothing happen – What makes me think is possible?
  • Let me wait for the next season maybe things will change?

Friends, the cure to indecision begins when you face your fear – You will never know what you can do until you decide to do it. And the quality of your decision lies on how much facts you have. So, gather the right info (facts) about whatever you want to do. Make inquiries, seek for suggestions and professional advice etc.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said – Each indecision brings its own delays and days are lost lamenting over lost days. . . . What you can do or think you can do, begin it. For boldness has magic, power, and genius in it.
